Saturday, October 9: FRESNO STATE 24 Colorado State (-4) 21:
The Bulldogs qualify in a couple of pretty good home underdog situations (a 85-35-1 ATS situation and a 110-59-3 ATS situation) and they are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 as a home underdog, so I will have them to pull off the upset. Fresno has allowed just 3.0 ypr this year, so they should be able to contain the Rams? bruising rushing attack and the Bulldogs capable quarterback Volek should be able to move his team through the air against a Colorado State defense that is surrendering 277 passing yards per game (although at a respectable 6.8 ypp). The fundamentals don?t give me enough confidence to pull the trigger with Fresno State, but the situations are strong enough that I will side with them here.
